About the Facility

NZVAPOR operates an ISO-accredited manufacturing facility in New Zealand, under the name of E-Liq Labs, where e-liquid production has been carried out since 2014. The facility is set up to support each stage of the process within a cleanroom environment.

Inside the Facility

Production takes place within ISO-accredited cleanrooms, where daily operations follow established procedures. Staff working in these areas wear protective clothing, including hair coverings, masks, gloves, and lab garments, as part of the standard process.

The facility is organised so that each stage of production is carried out in a designated space, allowing materials and products to move through the process in a consistent way.

Cleanroom Environment

The cleanroom area covers approximately 120m² and includes multiple rooms used for different stages of production. These spaces are enclosed and supported by an HVAC system that manages airflow, filtration, pressure, temperature, and humidity.

Each room operates with controlled air pressure, creating a stepped flow of air between spaces as products move from one stage to the next. Environmental conditions are maintained in line with ISO requirements and are part of the day-to-day operation of the facility.

Production Process

E-liquid is prepared in bulk before being transferred to the bottling area. From there, it is processed using flow-line machinery equipment, suited to different bottle sizes. During this stage, bottles are filled, sealed, and labelled with batch and date information.

As products move through the facility, they follow a sequence of steps including preparation, transfer, filling, labelling, and inspection. Each step is carried out within its own area as part of the overall process.

Equipment and Systems

The facility uses automated mixing and bottling machinery within enclosed systems. Mixing equipment combines ingredients before they move to the next stage, while bottling equipment is used to fill and seal containers.

Airflow throughout the facility is supported by a continuous HVAC system, which circulates and filters air across all cleanroom spaces. Temperature, humidity, and air pressure are managed across different rooms as part of maintaining consistent operating conditions.

Day-to-Day Operation

All stages of production, from initial preparation through to final packaging, take place within the same facility. The layout supports a steady flow of materials and products through each stage of the process.
