Frequently Asked Questions
- 1. WHAT LIQUID SUITS MY DEVICE?
If you use a smaller, less powerful device you will most probably need a liquid with a higher PG ratio (i.e. VG40/60PG). Most smaller devices (often looking like a pen) need a thinner, more runny liquid as small devices often have small inlets around the coil and a thick liquid cant pass through fast enough. These devices are usually used with a ‘mouth to lung’ technique.

A high powered device is often quite large and has very large induction holes in the coil, to allow more juice to flow through. If your liquid is too thin these devices can leak - which is a bit of a pain.

- 2. WHAT DEVICE SUITS ME BEST?
If you are new to vaping it is important to keep it simple. There is a natural learning curve that you will go through and things that confuse you now will most probably be easy to understand soon. In the meantime keep it simple! Most new vapers would use a device that simulates smoking. In this case, a pen style vaping device and a ‘high PG’ e-liquid (i.e. VG40/60PG), would be best suited (using the mouth to lung technique). These devices are generally very simple, smaller and easy to use.

- 3. HOW LONG SHOULD MY BATTERIES LAST?
As would be expected, the more you vape the faster you will use your batteries. Also, the higher that you have your device set to, the faster your batteries will drain
All batteries in the NZVAPOR product line are rechargeableIf you have removable batteries always check that there are no scratches or chips in the material that wraps around the batteries. If there are any deep scratches or chips, replace the batteries immediately. If your batteries are kept in good condition they should have a life expectancy of 6-12 months
All batteries like to stay ‘topped up’ so try to avoid completely draining them every day. They will last much longer if they are charged regularly.
- 4. HOW LONG SHOULD MY DEVICE LAST?
All vape devices in the NZVAPOR range have been tested and are used by staff. We only purchase quality products, direct from factory lines, so you can be sure that all products are genuine
If you are not the type to need the latest and greatest, product availability and maintain your device well, a device could last well over a year
Keep clean, keep dry and keep safe for lengthening the life of your device.
- 5. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO CHARGE MY DEVICE
The bigger the battery the longer it will take to charge. If you have a 1500mah battery you should be able to charge in 2-3 hours. A larger 2500mah battery can take around 3-4 hours to charge.
- 6. DO I NEED TO MAINTAIN MY DEVICE?
Yes. Regular maintenance of your device will make it last much longer
Try to clean contact areas whenever possible
Clean leaks if/when they occur
Replace the coils when needed
