Quitting smoking can be a real drag, literally.
Because nicotine is addictive, your brain is used to getting that hit. When you suddenly deprive it of the nicotine through quitting cold turkey or dramatically reducing your intake, you’ll experience nicotine withdrawal.
The symptoms of nicotine withdrawal are different for every person, but generally they involve being an irritable, grumpy person, an inability to concentrate, and physical symptoms like shaking, muscle tension, nausea, or insomnia. It’s this nicotine withdrawal that usually thwarts most well-meaning attempts to quit smoking.
How can vaping help with nicotine withdrawal?
Nicotine withdrawal is likely what will stop you quitting smoking. If you can get through your first week without a cigarette, you’re much more likely to be able to keep up the momentum, and your withdrawal symptoms will continue to fade. Getting to that week is another matter entirely …
Vaping can help. Many vape juices (including those in our e-juice range) contain nicotine. However, they do not contain the tobacco or other harmful chemicals that make cigarettes so deadly. The vapor released also doesn’t put others at risk of developing diseases through second-hand smoke.
You choose a juice with a certain nicotine level, and then gradually reduce the level of nicotine in your e-juice until you can quit altogether. Our e-liquids come in 6 nicotine levels (0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 18mg, 24mg). They have been specifically made for smokers by (ex)smokers, so all of them have the throat hit that a smoker wants (even the nicotine free e juice). The higher the nicotine level you choose the more throat hit you’ll get (so, If you smoked a strong cigarette or cigar; you should be choosing a higher nicotine level like 24mg, and vice versa).
We’ve even created a range of tobacco-flavoured e-juices that mimic the flavours of your favourite cigarettes, to help ease you through the process.
Because the e-cigarette also mimics the action of smoking, they’re helping people break their addiction to nicotine without also having to break the smoking habit. This is proving pretty effective – just ask our customers!
Because you’re decreasing your nicotine intake slowly, instead of going cold turkey, you won’t experience as many or as severe nicotine withdrawal. When you’re trying to quit smoking, this can make all the difference. If you haven’t already tried vaping, then what are you waiting for?
